Lets talk Turkey!!

Hello Crafters,

It's been a while but I've got a fun one for you today :)!! I made some 3D Turkeys!!!


Tail Feathers (Rosettes): DSP or Card Stock
          *3 Strips each
                 *4 x 12 Real Red
                 *3 1/2 x 12 Pumpkin Pie
                 *3 x 12 Daffodil Delight
                 *2 1/2 x 12 Old Olive
                            *Score all strips at 1/2 inch intervals
         *1 1/4 Scallop Circle Punch
                 *2 each in Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive Card Stock (to finish centers of Rosettes)

        *Fold all strips accordion style *SPECIAL NOTE: If using DSP fold 2 of each color with pattern choice UP and the 3rd DOWN (see photo)
        *Attach end to end *SPECIAL NOTE: You will end up with 2 ends facing the same direction, just use paper snips to cut off one end to finish circle (see photos)

      *Using Silicone Mat and hot glue gun lay rosette flat and attach 1 1/4 Scallop Circle in matching color to finish center then want for a bit and flip over and attach other side (see photo)
     *Stack rosettes from largest to smallest (see photo) and attach together with hot glue gun

Body
     *10 - #6 Oval Framelets (counting from smallest) in Chocolate Chip
          *Fold all in half
          *Attach 5 into a semi circle (see photo) make 2, set aside

Head/Face
      *1 - #3 Oval Framelets (counting from smallest) in Chocolate Chip
      *2 smooth pennants from the Petite Pennant Punch in Daffodil Delight cut as shown in photo
      *2 wings from the Bird Builder Punch in Real Red
     *2 wiggly eyes
*Attach face to oval as shown it photo on both sides
     *Attach head to first set of ovals as shown in photo
     *Attach 2nd set of ovals to finish Body
     *Using hot glue gun attach flat side of Body to Tail Feathers as shown in photo

Feet
     *1 Blossom Punch in Pumpkin Pie (cut as shown in photo)
     *1 - 2 1/2 Circle Punch in Chocolate Chip
     *Attach feet to underside of circle (shown in photo)
     *Using hot glue gun attach feet to bottom of turkey (as shown it photo)
Voila you have a TURKEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did one in DSP and one in Card Stock, do you have a favorite?
